Deceptively also known as Deception though not to be confused with the older (Bette Davis and Claude Rains) Deception or even the newer (Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor) one. If you are confused, don’t worry: the film’s a mess and you’ll not miss much by never seeing it. Don’t take my word for it. Even Charlize Theron’s knocked it.

Even if they had to go light on the Oedipal subtext, this original version still manages to knock the socks off the subtlety-free-zone that was the remake.
